Over The River

Over the river and through the woods... Remember that song? It's about going to Grandmother's house on Thanksgiving Day. I remember doing the same thing as a little girl. My best food choice of the day still happens to be cranberry sauce. Not from a can, but cooked on a stove with sugar and water then left to cool and thicken. Over The River makes me think of cranberries blended with evergreens. Sweet and earthy. The best!
